No. Our shampoo, conditioner and elixir do not contain SLS or SLES. These are cleaning agents that are added to everything from beauty products to household cleaners that can irritate the skin.

Q: Can I use the Thickening line as a replacement for the Viviscal PRO supplements?

We have designed the Viviscal Pro Thickening topical line as an ideal complement to our clinically proven hair supplement. Addressing thinning hair from the inside and the outside gives users the best chance of seeing positive results. We recommend using the supplements and the topical hair care products together as a complete regimen for healthy hair.

Q: Does Viviscal PRO Thickening range contain any sulfates?

Our conditioner and elixir do not contain any sulfates. Our shampoo does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES); but it does contain ammonium laurel sulfate (ALS) as a gentle sulfate ingredient for foaming.

Q: How should I use Viviscal PRO Thickening shampoo and conditioner?

Our shampoo and conditioner should be used as a daily hair care regimen. To use Thin to Thick Elixir, apply 2-3 pumps (depending on hair length) onto the palm of your hand and disperse throughout damp hair from root to tip using your fingers, or comb through. Alternatively, you can use Elixir as a styling aid on dry hair and it is suitable for everyday use.
